Madhup Mazumder has over twenty years of professional experience working and practicing in the field of Architecture and Landscape, running a design practice based out of Delhi, Kolkata and Ahmedabad.

As a Principal of DESIGN ACCORD since 2002, he has led the team to work on diverse range of projects ranging from urban scale to micro environments.

The spectrum of projects ranges from urban spaces, IT Parks, Corporate Offices, Clubs, Hotels, Retails, Housing, Township and Heritage projects across India, Middle East and SE Asia. Madhup excels in integration of the finer senses of design applications, adaptability to local context and program, creating a sense of place in the designed landscape that binds architectural aesthetics, site suitability and environmental sensitivity.

A recipient of double gold medals and the best thesis award during his masters program in Landscape in School of Planning and Architecture, New Delhi, Madhup worked under the able guidance of Prof. M. Shaheer for initial four years of his professional career. He was also awarded special recognition for Temple of Laughter – an International Open Idea Design Competition organised from Los Angeles, USA. In 2013, he was also awarded Indian Society of Landscape Architects ISOLA General Design Award of Excellence – Commendation for his work Heritage Garden Restoration of Chomugarh Palace, near Jaipur.

A dexterous sketch maker and artist, Madhup is an avid traveller who loves to explore and experience new places.

Vipul Singh

Principal- Interiors & Industrial Design

Vipul Singh has over sixteen years of professional experience, working and practicing in Architecture/Industrial design & Interior projects in New Delhi and other parts of the country.

As a principal of Design Accord since 2002, he has led the team to work on diverse range of projects ranging from Master Planning to micro environments. The spectrum of projects ranging from IT parks,Commercial spaces/Malls, Clubs,Corporate Offices, Hotels, Retails to Kiosk design (at airport at Bali, Indonesia) and Residential spaces across India.

He excels in integration of the finer senses of design applications adaptability to local context and to create environment which binds Architectural spaces & interiors to provide a unified feel.

Ravindra Verma

Ravindra Verma is a graduate from School of Planning and Architecture ( SPA), New Delhi. He is proud to be behind the designing of many ambitious projects.

Since 1991, he has taken a leadership role in building a portfolio and has been instrumental in leading the design of several projects. Unusual use of space is one of his biggest forte. He has an eye for good design and can visualize and translate ideas onto paper to show clients and builders. His ability to both lead a design team and provide client management role has been the key in maintaining and nurturing long-term relationships with highly satisfied clients. He has spent more than 28 years focused on planning and designing large scale retail, hotels, offices, residential, mixed use developments, colleges, campuses, townships, Industrial, laboratories, and Hospitals etc. Architecture according to him is what shapes our lives, something we all participate in – every day, and yet it is something most rarely notice.

He believes that architecture lies at the intersection of art and science bringing together primal needs and high tech. The process of architecture according to him requires a passionate involvement and commitment to bring out creative solutions to complex issues. The current state of architectural design is trending, according to him, many contemporary ideas of what defines unique and unusual, but visually and spiritually inspiring geometry supported with strong computer software. He believes in this experimentation but within the realms to explore purposeful architecture through various techniques, delivering meaningful buildings that exhibit a message of cultural relevancy.

All buildings according to him must firstly be designed to provide shelter from the elements and to keep the right temperature. Everything else should be a special effect that energizes the people inhabiting the space being designed and provide purpose to further the needs of the site.

Being on Design Accord’s advisory board, he is guiding us through his years of experience.

Rajesh Singh

Chief Architect

Rajesh Singh is a graduate Architect with vast experience in Architectural Planning and detailing.

He believes that Architecture should be neither weird or boring, neither alien or alienating, neither wasteful nor wanting in the qualities that make us human. It should be good. He believes that architecture can make our human-created world better..

It can make it better in a social and an environmental sense. It can create spaces that are open,accessible and sustainable. It can create the stages on which we can act out the roles we feel are ours to play with those we recognize as our fellow actors.

Roli Dixit

Associate Interior Designer

Roli Dixit has over 10 years of professional experience working & practicing in the field of Interior Design, Planning and Execution.

Her work and experience deals with multi-faceted design and planning projects that span various scales ranging from residential projects, office interiors , restaurants and clubs. As an Associate designer of the Interior Cell of well known architectural firm Design Accord based out of Delhi and Kolkata , she has led teams of diverse design professionals and site execution teams in various capacities

Her passion for interior design is invigorating and her strength lies in realising the vision through on time and optimally on the project site well co-ordinated with various utility services and best suited to the local context and Client brief. By her meticulous involvement through the delivery of the project, she combines imagination and sound practical sense with an eye for detail.

Mahua Ghosh

Ms. Mahua Ghosh, has worked in the field of Landscape Architecture for more than 20 years. Her experience ranges across a wide variety of Landscape Projects ranging from Software Parks, Residential Landscapes, Industrial and Institutional Landscapes, Design for large Public Parks etc.

Her initial years were formed by working with Landscape Architects Nina Chandavarkar and Prem Chengappa Of OIKOS , Bangalore and later under Architects Aftabuddin Ahmed and Deepak Majumdar in DCPL (Development Consultants Pvt Ltd)

In the year 2000 she received the Group Study Exchange Scholarship from Rotary International district 3290, India/Nepal to Rotary International District 7010, Canada. In the year 2006 she attended the 3rd Asia Pacific Association of Hydrology and Water Resources Conference in Bangkok and presented the paper URBAN WATERSCAPE PROJECTS IN A MEGACITY. Susequently , in 2014 she presented the paper NEW LANDSCAPE PLANNING IN KOLKATA NEAR THE BAY OF BENGAL in the Second Indian Ocean Heritage Conference at Saint Denis, Reunion.

Anal Vaishnav

Anal Vaishnav has over 20 years plus professional experience working mostly with corporates and public sectors in the fields of Urban Planning and Landscape. She is a co-founder of Living Roots, an environment focused design and implementation practice that develops customised nature-based ecological footprints like native bio-diverse micro forest parks and multi-layered food farms. Anal last headed the Landscape vertical of India’s first smart city, GIFT (Gujarat). Earlier, she was the CEO of Urbanus Infrastructure Development (P.) Limited, focusing on planning projects in eco-sensitive regions of Chhattisgarh and West Bengal. Apart Indian geographies, Anal has also worked on intricate planning and design projects in inner London and Como, Italy. She has led multi-faceted projects spanning various scales ranging from township master plans, landscape master plans, green mobility plans, city park designs, formulation of urban design and landscape guidelines and detailed design with execution of streetscapes and many campus landscapes.

Recipient of gold medal and Jindal award for best performance in Architecture education, Anal has credible accolades and been a panellist and a jury member to many discourses on futuristic habitat design. Under her able leadership, Calcutta Riverside Township won 3 International Awards (CNBC Asia Pacific and Cityscape) and a credible branding award for its innovative communication. She also led the team that won Surat Safe Habitat Award for Town Planning Scheme during her engagement with I-con Architects and Urban Planners, Ahmedabad. She is a co-author of ‘Gender and the Indian City - Revisioning Design and Planning’.

At Design Accord, Anal brings on board the pragmatism of client economics and best environmental practices from research and academia as a means to green design thinking. She advocates and puts in practice the concept of sustainability, liveability and resilience.
